ABOUT THE HIDDEN KITCHEN

Founded by Annabel Gray, the Hidden Kitchen provides small scale catering which is special, sustainable and secret, right to your home or place of work.

From everyday eating, to kitchen suppers, celebrations, corporate occasions and more formal dinner parties, the Hidden Kitchen creates feasts bespoke to you, ready for serving at your dining table.

Working around your needs, our catering will provide food for one to 40 people, and bespoke cooking classes around the London, Surrey and Kent area (ideally 1 hour from Streatham).

Meet the Chef

Annabel has been passionate about food since a child. Having been taught to cook at a very young age by her mother, she has always felt at home cooking and creating menus that bring people together. Classically trained at Leith’s (2008) and Cookery School at Little Portland Street (2025), and with a Level 2 from Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), Annabel finally took the leap from the busy corporate world to start the Hidden Kitchen in 2025.

Based on her own experiences hosting for her large family (young nephews and nieces included) and entertaining friends and colleagues, the Hidden Kitchen aims to provide either a full banquet of fresh homemade food, or ad hoc support which can prop you up when you host. In a society where everyone is busy and even more aware of the benefits of prioritising healthy, sustainable eating - hosting and eating well can be one less thing to worry about.

With a background in Environmental Science (BSc - Honours) and a practitioner of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental professionals, Annabel hopes to bring together two of her passions to always ensure the food that arrives at your door is as local and sustainable as possible, minimising food waste across the process. With an understanding of the demands of busy working schedules, she aims to be as flexible and subtle in her support as you need.

Providing a range of catering services from batch cooking healthy & yummy meals, to behind the scenes catering to support you host relaxing & enjoyable dinner parties or special occasions.

Catering for hen parties, children birthday parties, the night before the wedding, birthdays, anniversary celebrations, batch cooking, family dining or eating, engagement parties.

Cooking classes

Offering bespoke cooking classes from the comfort of your own home. Whether a little chef, those embarking on university life, or a grown up cook seeking to finesse your skills.

London, Kent, Surrey based.  Offering subtle, low key, secret catering and cooking services.  Offering cooking classes for children and adults. University cooking courses and children bake offs.

Supporting smaller organisations cater in-house or client facing events. Ranging from bowl food, buffets, canapes to more intimate dinners to wow!
